At the crossroads of several pedestrian streets, this square is one of the town’s focal points, with its 17th-century Hôtel de Ville (Town Hall) and its large, typically Waldensian roof, arcades and Renaissance facade adorned with two copper dragon gargoyles.

At the center of the square stands the city’s oldest fountain, adorned with a statue of Justice.
